Jose Mourinho is expected to start Denzel Dumfries at right-back for Real Madrid's match against Racing Santander on November 1. This decision comes after Federico Valverde was ruled out due to muscular discomfort. Mourinho had experimented with Valverde in the right-back position previously, but with Valverde unavailable, Dumfries will return to the lineup, ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold. The tactical choice aims to bolster the team's balance against an attacking opponent. Dumfries replaced Valverde in the previous Clasico and looks to solidify his role moving forward.
