José Mourinho names Thiago Pitarch as key player for Real Madrid this season

Summary

José Mourinho, the new head coach of Real Madrid, will integrate Thiago Pitarch into the first team this season, a decision confirmed despite Pitarch currently dealing with an injury. The 18-year-old midfielder has shown considerable promise, making 16 appearances last season in La Liga and the Champions League. With significant transfer interest around him this summer, it had previously seemed possible that he might depart.
