Jose Mourinho targets Ruben Dias for summer transfer to Real Madrid
Summary

Real Madrid is considering a move for Manchester City defender Ruben Dias this summer, following a request from new manager Jose Mourinho. Dias has reportedly instructed his representatives to explore potential departure options from City as the club prepares for a new era under manager Enzo Maresca after Pep Guardiola's exit. Despite City’s emphasis on retaining Dias, his interest in leaving could challenge the club's resolve. Reports highlight concerns over Madrid's defensive lineup, with Mourinho seeking experienced leadership. Whether this interest develops into a formal approach remains to be seen.
