Joseph Parker's cocaine ban lifted after contamination explanation

Joseph Parker has had a backdated three-month suspension lifted by UK Anti-Doping (Ukad) following a ruling that traces of cocaine found in his system were due to contamination from his nutritionist. This followed Parker's loss to Fabio Wardley in October 2025, where he lost the interim WBO heavyweight title. After further investigation, Ukad confirmed the positive test resulted from the nutritionist's cocaine use prior to the bout, which Parker did not willfully ingest. Parker, who accepted the imposition of the three-month period of ineligibility, is now cleared to resume his boxing career.
