Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw debut as syX in TNA

Last Thursday on Impact, Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw debuted in TNA. Known as Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis in WWE until their somewhat surprising inclusion in this year’s post-WrestleMania roster cuts, the duo were a part of Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy’s Wyatt Sicks, an act that both a tribute to Bray Wyatt, and an extension of the late WWE champion’s work. Sawyer and Shaw were revealed to be the mystery attackers that have been running around Impact for a couple months now. They were called out by previous victims Matt and Jeff Hardy, and used a Wyatt-esque distraction as they jumped the tag team legends. Afterwards, there was no mention of a team name on commentary, but this was on the big screen after their big reveal… But that was the last time we’d seen it mentioned, until TNA and their television/streaming partner started promoting Sawyer and Shaw’s second Impact appearance tomorrow night (Oct. 1)… After taking on the Hardys, syX will be in the iMPACT!
