New York Knicks guard Josh Hart states the team enters the 2026-27 season viewing themselves as hunters rather than the hunted. Despite securing the championship last year, Hart notes that few analysts project a repeat performance, a narrative the players are using as fuel. The team is adjusting to roster changes, including the loss of Mitchell Robinson to free agency. Reports indicate the organization is considering free agents John Konchar and Drew Eubanks to address depth concerns ahead of training camp. Additionally, management faces upcoming contract extension negotiations with Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, and Miles McBride. Hart emphasized that a culture of selflessness and sacrifice remains vital for the team to achieve their postseason objectives.
