The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 13-10 at Lumen Field on September 10, 2026, following a game-sealing interception by cornerback Josh Jobe. The defensive play occurred in the final moments as Patriots quarterback Drake Maye attempted a pass toward intended receiver Mack Collins in the end zone. Seattle played a significant portion of the game without starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who left after the opening drive due to a lower-body injury. Drew Lock replaced Darnold, completing 16 of 22 passes for 187 yards and a 45-yard touchdown strike to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. New England also sustained a roster setback when receiver AJ Brown exited the contest with an ankle injury.
