Joshua Lane, a defensive lineman from Memphis Central, announced his commitment to Memphis football on June 20. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound athlete chose Memphis over offers from schools including Ole Miss and USF. Lane played 10 games last season, recording 69 total tackles and five tackles for loss.
