Joshua Tyson commits to Cincinnati basketball program

Four-star point guard Joshua Tyson has chosen to commit to Cincinnati, as reported on September 25, 2026. The 6-foot-2 senior, hailing from West Chester, Ohio, made his decision over Xavier. Tyson is currently ranked No. 56 in the 2027 class and No. 18 among point guards, per Rivals Industry Rankings. He joins fellow four-star recruit Kam Mercer, who has also committed to the Bearcats. Tyson, who averaged 14.5 points and 4.4 assists this summer while playing on the adidas 3SSB Circuit, will finish his high school career at La Lumiere in Indiana.
