Joshua Zirkzee aims to earn starting role at Manchester United

Summary

Joshua Zirkzee is determined to prove himself at Manchester United as he battles for a starting position under manager Michael Carrick. With limited playing time, having logged just 70 minutes across four appearances this season, Zirkzee aims to capitalize on his recent international success, where he scored for the Netherlands in a 2-1 victory against Serbia. The reintegration of Marcus Rashford and the anticipated return of Amad Diallo complicate his situation. Zirkzee acknowledges the challenge and emphasizes the need to work hard to secure more minutes on the pitch.
