Jovan Milicevic aims for major impact as Xavier basketball season approaches

Jovan Milicevic returns as a key player for Xavier basketball ahead of the 2026-27 season. After a breakout sophomore year, he believes the team has greater depth and potential, following a challenging 15-18 campaign. Milicevic is optimistic about a turnaround, especially with the addition of LSU transfer Mike Nwoko, which allows him to return to his natural power forward position. He has gained confidence after previously playing center despite the challenges posed by the Big East's physicality, and he demonstrated strong preseason performance in exhibition games.
