JST Motorsports takes ownership of Tanner Thorson's No. 88 Sprint Car

Tanner Thorson's No. 88 Sprint Car, previously owned by Rod Gross Motorsports, is now under the ownership of JST Motorsports. This transition was officially announced on July 28, 2026, and follows months of planning. Thorson has experienced significant success while driving for Rod and Nancy Gross, boasting six victories and numerous top finishes in the High Limit Racing series. The JST Motorsports team, now headed by Jason and Shantel Tessier, is committed to competing in the upcoming High Limit Racing events, including a West Coast swing starting on August 20. Thorson currently sits eighth in the championship standings, trailing the leader by over 250 points.
