Safety Juanyeh Thomas is joining the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad following his release from the Indianapolis Colts. The 26-year-old was waived by Indianapolis during final roster cutdowns on Sunday. Thomas initially joined the Colts in free agency earlier this offseason but faced a crowded safety room. During his time with the Dallas Cowboys from 2023 through 2025, he recorded 62 tackles over 549 defensive snaps. He also possesses extensive special teams experience, having logged 724 snaps on that unit over the past three seasons. Thomas was an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech in 2022.
