Jud Fabian hits two home runs as Orioles minor league teams compete

Jud Fabian recorded three hits and three RBIs, including two home runs, to lead the Norfolk Tides to a 9-2 win over the Memphis Redbirds. Félix Bautista maintained his extended rehab assignment, pitching a scoreless inning with a velocity peaking at 97.9 MPH. In Double-A, Anthony Eyanson struck out six across four innings for the Chesapeake Baysox in an 8-2 win against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. The game was shortened by a rain delay in the fifth inning. Meanwhile, the Frederick Keys fell 5-3 to the Greensboro Grasshoppers in the South Atlantic League North Division Championship series. Frederick attempted a late rally with a three-run double from Randal Diaz in the ninth, but the effort fell short. The two clubs return to the field tonight to decide the series.
