Judge showcases roller skating art exhibition in Great Yarmouth

Debby Besford, a national roller skating judge and photographer, opens her exhibition titled The Art of Roller Skating at Great Yarmouth's Time and Tide Museum. The exhibition highlights the lives of seven artistic skaters over a decade and aims to promote roller skating as a potential Olympic sport. Besford hopes to attract attention to the sport's rich heritage in Great Yarmouth, a town known for producing several champions. The exhibition features memorabilia and photographs that offer insights into the skaters' lives beyond the rink. The exhibit is set to run until April 2027.
