Jules Ahoka performs in Sunderland debut against Hull City

Sunderland midfielder Jules Ahoka made his full debut during a Carabao Cup Third Round match against Hull City at the Stadium of Light on September 8. The twenty-year-old recorded an eighty-eight percent pass accuracy, completing fifty of fifty-seven pass attempts throughout the ninety-minute fixture. Standing 6’3", Ahoka contributed to the defensive effort with nine clearances and a critical block of a Hull City shot while the score was level. This appearance marked his first senior start for the club following his transfer from Royal Antwerp in August. Ahoka remains part of the team's Europa League squad and is expected to compete for minutes alongside teammates Noah Sadiki and Granit Xhaka as the season progresses.
