Jules Kounde's role with Barcelona shifts ahead of transfer deadline

Summary

FC Barcelona defender Jules Kounde faces uncertainty regarding his future as the transfer window approaches. Under Hansi Flick, his role has diminished, with Eric Garcia now favored as the starting right-back. Flick communicated to Kounde that he will likely play more frequently as a center-back, though competition from Pau Cubarsi and Gerard Martin limits his starting opportunities. While Kounde remains part of the plans, Barcelona is reportedly open to offers for his transfer if they meet expectations.
