Julian Alvarez plans to appoint new agent after ending relationship with Hidalgo

Julian Alvarez has dismissed his long-time agent Fernando Hidalgo following a failed transfer attempt to Barcelona. The Atletico Madrid striker is expected to hire Pablo Barquero, who also represents Barcelona midfielder Rodri. Alvarez’s discontent with Hidalgo grew after the unfruitful move to Barcelona during the summer transfer window. With Barquero's connections at Barcelona, he may facilitate a potential transfer for Alvarez in the future. A formal agreement is anticipated soon as Alvarez seeks new direction for his career.
