Julián Álvarez requests meeting with Atlético's Gil Marín amid tensions

Julián Álvarez has requested a face-to-face meeting with Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, CEO of Atlético de Madrid, after a three-hour discussion with his agents in Madrid. The call for a meeting comes amid growing discontent as Atlético's management did not honor a prior commitment to meet with Álvarez's representatives, escalating tensions regarding his future. Reports indicate that a transfer to FC Barcelona, which had been considered, is now deemed highly unlikely due to its complexity. Further developments are anticipated following Álvarez's request for direct communication.
