Julio Rodríguez of the Seattle Mariners has been placed on the 7-day concussion injured list after being hit in the back of the head by a thrown ball in Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. He initially continued playing but later experienced light-headedness, prompting the team to evaluate him, leading to the decision to place him on the IL. Miles Mastrobuoni has been selected from Tacoma to take his roster spot. To create room for Mastrobuoni, pitcher Cooper Criswell has been transferred to the 60-day IL due to a right shoulder strain.
