NBA legend Julius Erving recently addressed the Philadelphia 76ers following a series of high-profile offseason roster acquisitions. The team added LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, the latter acquired in a trade with the Boston Celtics for Paul George and draft assets. Philadelphia also signed guards Anfernee Simons and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to deepen the rotation. Erving emphasized that despite the talent on the roster, the team must demonstrate its championship potential through performance on the court rather than preseason expectations. The 76ers aim to improve upon their 2025-26 campaign, which ended with a second-round playoff loss to the New York Knicks after a 45-37 regular season finish.
