Junior linebacker Stuart Borowski leads the Petoskey football defense

Petoskey junior middle linebacker Stuart Borowski has emerged as a leader for the Northmen through two games this season. After gaining experience as a sophomore starter, Borowski has increased his physical size and improved his reads, contributing five tackles and a fumble recovery in a recent victory over Sault Ste. Marie. The Petoskey defense has allowed no more than one touchdown per game thus far and has collectively recorded 16 tackles for a loss. Borowski is now focused on providing vocal leadership and setting the tone for teammates during practice. The Northmen prepare for their next challenge against 2-0 Coopersville in Week 3. This upcoming matchup represents one of the most significant tests of the season for the team.
