Junior Tuihalamaka transfers from Notre Dame to LSU ahead of 2026 season

Defensive end Junior Tuihalamaka has announced his transfer from Notre Dame to LSU. The decision comes after a Louisiana state court ruling granted him a fifth year of eligibility. Tuihalamaka joins the Tigers as they prepare for their season opener against Clemson on September 5th. The transfer adds much-needed depth to LSU's defensive line, which has faced injuries and absences during training camp. Tuihalamaka has played in 54 games over four seasons with Notre Dame, totaling 61 tackles and 4.0 sacks.
