Junior wide receiver Brett Eskildsen joins Penn State football team

Junior wide receiver Brett Eskildsen has joined the Penn State football team following his tenure at Iowa State. The Frisco, Texas, native recorded 30 catches for 526 yards and five touchdowns during his 2025 season with the Cyclones, earning All-Big 12 honorable mention honors. Eskildsen followed head coach Matt Campbell to Penn State but missed live reps during spring practice due to an undisclosed injury. He has completed his recovery ahead of schedule and is expected to be available for the team's season opener. Eskildsen aims to bolster the Penn State receiving unit alongside transfers Chase Sowell and Koby Howard. Penn State is scheduled to play its first game in four days.
