Goalie Jussi Olkinuora has joined Pelicans Lahti after departing the German team Dresdner Eislöwen. Olkinuora, 35, previously played for Pelicans in both the 2018-19 and 2023-24 seasons. His tenure in Detroit saw limited success; he posted a 6-8-0 record with a 3.75 goals-against average in the AHL with the Grand Rapids Griffins. After a midseason release from the Red Wings in 2023, he played for multiple teams across three countries.
