Justin Frison commits to Murray State men's basketball team

Houston point guard Justin Frison announced his commitment to Murray State on September 4, 2026. The three-star recruit selected the Racers over offers from Memphis, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and West Virginia. Ranked as the No. 126 overall prospect in the class of 2027 by 247Sports, Frison is recognized as the first nationally ranked recruit in Murray State history. During his junior season at Houston High, he averaged 21 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. He also performed on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Thad, where he led the league in total assists with a 7.3 average. The recruitment is notable for the school's ties to the Miller family, as head coach Ryan Miller is the brother of former Memphis Grizzlies star Mike Miller.
