Justin Longmuir is set to be appointed head coach for Western Australia in the upcoming AFL Origin clash against South Australia on February 27 at Optus Stadium. Longmuir recently led Fremantle to a Grand Final but fell short against Brisbane. The AFL is rotating coaching positions, following Sydney's Dean Cox taking charge of WA in this year's match against Victoria. Collingwood's Craig McRae is expected to coach South Australia and will likely include notable players like Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera and Izak Rankine. The AFL will confirm these coaching appointments in November.
