Juventus approaches Newcastle United regarding a potential loan for Nick Woltemade

Summary

Juventus has initiated contact with Newcastle United to explore a potential loan deal for German forward Nick Woltemade. The move serves as part of the Turin club's contingency planning should Jonathan David depart for Atlético Madrid. Woltemade, 24, joined Newcastle United in 2025 following a successful tenure at VfB Stuttgart, where he tallied 12 Bundesliga goals and contributed to a DFB-Pokal title. He also gained international recognition through his Germany senior team debut and by leading the scoring at the 2025 European Under-21 Championship. Bayern Munich previously expressed formal interest in the forward during his time in Germany before he moved to England. Juventus is currently considering Woltemade alongside Joshua Zirkzee as potential offensive reinforcements.
