Juventus reaches agreement with Lucumí amid Bologna negotiations

Summary

Juventus has reached an agreement in principle with Jhon Lucumí, a defender from Bologna, to join the club. The deal reportedly includes a five-year contract worth €2.5m per season plus bonuses. Lucumí had interest from Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, and Manchester United, but prioritized Juventus for their competitive stature and European football. The main obstacle remains Bologna's minimum valuation of €25m for the player, which Juventus is negotiating. Juventus's initial bid of €17m was rejected, and they may include compatriot Juan Cabal as part of a new offer.
