Juventus targets Marseille defender Emerson for left-back position
Summary

Juventus is reportedly interested in signing Olympique de Marseille's Emerson Palmieri this summer. The 31-year-old left-back joined Marseille in a low-cost deal from West Ham United last season and played 37 matches, contributing three assists. Following their failure to qualify for UEFA Champions League football, Marseille may need to sell players, with Emerson identified as a potential departure. His previous connection with Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti adds to the likelihood of a move.
