Kaden Aucoin, a defenseman for the Sarnia Sting, has committed to the NCAA program at Boston University. Announcing his decision via Instagram, Aucoin will likely remain with the Sting for at least one more season before heading to BU. The 17-year-old, who is a dual citizen of Canada and the U.S., follows in the footsteps of his father, Adrian Aucoin, who also played at Boston University. Aucoin had two goals and five assists along with 72 penalty minutes in his rookie OHL season. The family connection continues with Kaden's brother, Cameron Aucoin, who plays alongside him at Sarnia but not yet committed to any NCAA school.
