Kaif supports Sarfaraz Khan's selection for Sri Lanka Tests over Jurel

Summary

Mohammad Kaif advocates for Sarfaraz Khan's inclusion in India's Test team for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka, starting on August 15. Sarfaraz, who has been named as a replacement for injured Sai Sudharsan, has not played Test cricket since November 2024. Kaif emphasizes Sarfaraz's skill against spin bowling and argues he should bat in the middle order over Dhruv Jurel, who has struggled for form. The debate around selection is intensified by the conditions expected in Galle, where Sarfaraz's abilities could be crucial. The first Test will take place in Galle, followed by a second Test in Colombo on August 23.
