Kamari Burnside improves record after Mayweather Promotions debuts in Nashville

Mayweather Promotions launched a partnership with Country Box and Jimmy Adams Promotions at Plaza Mariachi in Nashville on Sept. 1. During the event, undefeated fighter Kamari Burnside improved his professional record to 7-0 after securing a first-round technical knockout against Mike Fowler. This event marks the promotional company's initial expansion into the Southern market as part of a strategy to increase fighter visibility and activity. Nicole Craig, VP of Marketing and Operations for Mayweather Promotions, noted that the organization intends to utilize the platform to build records for its prospects. The series is scheduled to return on Oct. 6, with additional bouts featuring Abdullah Kedar and Dorian Khan Jr. expected to take place. Promoter Jimmy Adams has overseen 44 shows in the Nashville area since 2023, and the partnership with Mayweather Promotions aims to facilitate further growth for local boxing opportunities.
