Kansas basketball receives $3.1 million deal with Players Era

Players Era Championship has secured a deal with the University of Kansas worth at least $3.1 million. This agreement includes NIL opportunities, a travel stipend, and expenses for the Jayhawks to compete in three games during a November tournament in Las Vegas. Players Era will provide $2.75 million in NIL money, $200,000 for travel, and $150,000 for lodging and meals. Kansas will participate in the Players Era Eight starting November 17, along with 23 other teams. The deal includes caveats allowing Players Era to opt out each year under certain conditions.
