The Kansas City Chiefs hosted undrafted rookie wide receiver Cam Ross and linebacker Taurean York for tryouts on Friday. Both players were recently released by the Denver Broncos prior to the start of the NFL regular season. Ross recorded five receptions for 29 yards, two carries for 21 yards, and served as a return specialist during the preseason. York contributed five tackles, including one for loss, across three preseason appearances. The workouts occurred just days before the Chiefs and Broncos are scheduled to face each other in a Week 1 Monday Night Football game. To date, six players cut by Denver this summer have signed with other NFL teams, and it remains to be seen if Ross or York will join them.
