Kansas City Chiefs sign Thomas Odukoya and clear injured players from roster

Odukoya joins the team via an international player exemption, which allows the organization to maintain a 17th roster spot. The move follows the departure of tackle Chu Godrick, who joined the Miami Dolphins earlier this week after three seasons with Kansas City. Additionally, the team reached injury settlements with quarterback Chris Oladokun, guard CJ Hanson, and running back EJ Smith. These three players were previously waived from the Reserve/Injured list following final roster cuts last Sunday. Each player will become a free agent after their respective settlement period ends, though they are prohibited from returning to the Chiefs for three weeks after their departure.
