Kansas football representatives for Big 12 media days announced

Kansas football will send coach Lance Leipold and five players to the Big 12 Conference media days on July 8. Representing the Jayhawks are redshirt junior offensive lineman Calvin Clements, wide receiver Cam Pickett, linebacker Trey Lathan, defensive tackle Blake Herold, and defensive end Leroy Harris III. The team is looking to improve after two consecutive 5-7 seasons following back-to-back bowl appearances in 2022 and 2023. Kansas is currently engaged in a quarterback battle, with options including Cole Ballard, Isaiah Marshall, and Chase Jenkins. The Jayhawks' season opener is on September 4 at home against Long Island University.
