Kansas State football gains edge rusher Sedrick Marsh for 2027 class

Kansas State football has secured a commitment from Sedrick Marsh Jr., a three-star edge rusher from Waxahachie, Texas. Marsh announced his decision on June 10, selecting Kansas State over other programs including Texas and Oklahoma. Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 230 pounds, he is considered one of the top defensive ends in Texas, having recorded 32 tackles, five for a loss, and two sacks last season. This marks Kansas State's first edge rusher commitment for the 2027 recruiting class, which is currently ranked second in the Big 12. Marsh visited Kansas State for an official visit the previous weekend, where he received an offer from the Wildcats in November.
