Karley Shelton, a junior infielder from South Carolina, has transferred to join the Tennessee softball team. The 5-foot-5 left-handed batter entered the NCAA transfer portal on May 24 and made her commitment to Tennessee public on Instagram. During her tenure at South Carolina, Shelton played 171 games with a.314 batting average and recorded 157 hits, 12 home runs, and 95 RBIs. She is the sister of Colby Shelton, a former Alabama and Florida baseball player selected by the White Sox in the 2025 MLB draft.
