Karlos May commits to Ohio State, choosing Big Ten over FSU

Karlos May, a highly regarded defensive line prospect from Birmingham, Alabama, has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes, opting for the Big Ten over Florida State University. May was FSU's top remaining uncommitted target in the 2027 recruiting cycle and previously considered Auburn and Georgia. Standing at 6-foot-3.5 and weighing 305 pounds, he has been a focus for FSU since receiving a scholarship offer in July 2025, visiting Tallahassee four times. The Seminoles currently have four defensive linemen committed for the 2027 class but were hopeful to add May, who is ranked as the No. 135 player overall and the No. 15 defensive lineman according to the 247Sports composite.
