Karolina Muchova eliminates Katie Boulter from the US Open

Karolina Muchova defeated British No 1 Katie Boulter in straight sets at the US Open on Wednesday. The match lasted 58 minutes at Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York. Muchova claimed the victory 6-1 6-0 while breaking Boulter in all seven of her service games. Boulter recorded eight double faults and 22 unforced errors during the contest. In other tournament action, Jan Choinski exited the event following a 6-3 6-1 7-6 (5) loss to Botic van de Zandschulp. The US Open continues through September 13.
