Martin, who played alongside Clark for five years at Iowa, noted that Clark treated practice sessions with intense competitiveness to elevate the entire team. This approach included viewing teammates as rivals during drills to maintain a high level of excellence. Clark currently averages 22.5 points and 8.4 assists per game as the Fever compete for a spot in the WNBA Playoffs. While the two former college teammates now face each other in the professional ranks, Martin highlighted that this drive remains a signature of Clark’s performance on the court. Martin has played for four different teams since being drafted in 2024.
