Tennessee freshman Katrina Scott participated in the 2026 US Open qualifiers on August 26 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. She faced Katie Swan, losing 6-3, 6-1. Scott earned her spot in the qualifier by reaching the singles final at the USTA American Collegiate Wildcard Playoffs, defeating Luciana Perry. This past spring, she recorded a 5-4 singles record with the Lady Vols and has competed in all four Grand Slams during her career, including the 2020 US Open.
