Kaukauna baseball teams advances to semifinals after defeating River Falls

Kaukauna baseball secured a place in the WIAA Division 1 semifinals by defeating River Falls 4-1 on June 15 at Neuroscience Group Field. The third-seeded Ghosts, now 22-7, are making their first state appearance since 1954. Carson Gates pitched a complete game, striking out five and allowing just one earned run. Kaukauna rallied after falling behind 1-0, scoring two runs in the fifth and adding two more in the sixth. The Ghosts will face Nicolet in the semifinals on June 17 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
