Kawhi Leonard attends Naomi Osaka match as trade remains in limbo
Summary

Kawhi Leonard was spotted at the National Bank Open in Toronto enjoying Naomi Osaka's match against Elena Rybakina. Although Leonard is still associated with the LA Clippers, he is expected to be traded to the Toronto Raptors, pending the outcome of an ongoing NBA investigation. The league's inquiry into an alleged no-work sponsorship deal has stalled the trade, with any resolution anticipated before the start of the 2026-27 season. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has expressed hopes for a resolution this summer, but complexities remain. Leonard reportedly feels confident about the trade despite the delays.
