The Toronto Raptors continue to wait for an official resolution regarding the trade involving Kawhi Leonard. Although the Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors reached an agreement to send Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick to Los Angeles, the NBA investigation into alleged improper payments has delayed the finalization of the move. Reports surfaced that Leonard has purchased a home in Toronto, suggesting he anticipates the transition will proceed before training camp begins. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is currently reviewing allegations against the Los Angeles Clippers involving off-the-books payments. The Toronto Raptors view the addition of Leonard as a move to bolster their roster alongside Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett. A final ruling from the league office is expected in the coming weeks to determine if the trade can be processed.
