Kelee Ringo considered trade candidate by Eagles ahead of season

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Kelee Ringo is viewed as a potential trade candidate as the team prepares for the upcoming NFL season. Selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft, Ringo's playing time has been limited. The Eagles added cornerbacks Riq Woolen and Jonathan Jones, further complicating Ringo's position on the depth chart. He has just eight starts in three seasons and was part of the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX-winning team, but recorded no statistics in the playoffs. Both Ringo and fellow corner Jakorian Bennett are in the final season of their rookie contracts and may see reduced playing time due to the new acquisitions. Ringo is known for a standout play in the 2022 national championship for the Georgia Bulldogs.
