Keller Chryst debuts as defensive quality control coach for the Seattle Seahawks

Former Tennessee quarterback Keller Chryst began his first season as a defensive quality control coach for the Seattle Seahawks during the team's 13-10 victory over the New England Patriots on Wednesday. The regular season opener took place at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, with 68,744 people in attendance. Chryst joined the Seahawks organization in 2025, initially serving on the support staff where he managed special projects and football analysis. He previously served as an analyst at Iowa from 2023-2024 and worked as a graduate assistant at Wisconsin. During his collegiate playing career, Chryst appeared in eight games for the Tennessee Volunteers in 2018 after transferring from Stanford. His transition to a full-time defensive quality control role follows the team's Super Bowl LX championship last season.
