Kelsey Mitchell earns WNBA player of the month award for August

The WNBA named Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for August. During the month, she also extended her streak of consecutive 20-point games to 24, setting a new league record. This marks the third consecutive month a Fever guard has received the conference award, with Clark earning the recognition in June and Mitchell taking the title in both July and August.
