Phoenix Mercury guard Kelsey Plum will miss her second consecutive game on Sunday against the Portland Fire due to left calf tightness. Plum did not participate in the second half of Phoenix's game against the Washington Mystics on August 9 and was subsequently ruled out for the match against the Fire. The team will re-evaluate her before their next game on August 22. Plum, recently acquired from the Los Angeles Sparks, has struggled with injuries, appearing in only four games since joining the Mercury and posting an average of 21.3 points in those outings. She was also named to the Team USA roster for the FIBA Women's World Cup in early September.
